Coffee Machine Repair FAQs

Thinking about getting your coffee machine repaired? Here are straightforward answers about our free assessment, doorstep collection, genuine parts, included internal service and 12-month warranty.

Getting started

How do I arrange a coffee machine repair?

Use the enquiry form below or contact us. Tell us the make, model and fault, along with your contact details. No model number or technical diagnosis needed.

Do I need to know what is wrong with the machine?

No. Simply describe what happens, such as “Sage Barista Pro, grinder running but no coffee coming out.” Our initial assessment determines the fault.

Is the initial assessment free?

Yes. We offer a free initial assessment of your machine to determine the fault.

Inspection and repair turnaround times

How soon will you inspect my machine?

We carry out the initial inspection within 24 hours of receiving your machine.

How long does a repair take?

We aim to complete repairs within 72 hours, subject to parts availability. This is a repair target rather than a guaranteed completion time.

Repair costs and what is included

Am I obliged to go ahead with the repair?

No. There is no obligation to proceed. If the repair costs more than you expected, you can choose not to go ahead.

How much will my repair cost?

The cost depends on the fault and the repair required. The free initial assessment establishes the fault so you can make an informed decision about proceeding.

Do you use genuine Sage parts?

Yes. For Sage repairs, we only use genuine parts sourced directly from a Sage-approved supplier.

Is an internal service included with my repair?

Yes. Every machine repair includes a free internal service as standard. This includes a full strip-down of the machine and all moving parts, including replacement of perished or worn O-rings.

Is the internal service an optional extra?

No. The internal service described above is included with every machine repair at no additional charge.

Collection from your door

Do you offer free collection?

Yes. We offer free Royal Mail collection from your door.

Do I need a printer for the collection?

No. Our Royal Mail collection service is printerless, so you do not need to print a label.

Do I need to take my machine to the Post Office?

No. With our collection service, Royal Mail collects from your door.

Your 12-month warranty

Do repairs come with a warranty?

Yes. Our repairs come with a 12-month repair warranty.

Are replacement parts covered by a warranty?

Yes. All parts we supply as part of your repair include a 12-month warranty.

How do I contact you about an issue after a repair?

Contact Brew & Grind with your make, model and a description of the issue. Mention that the machine has previously been repaired by us.

Faults and safety

Can I enquire about a grinder fault?

Yes. Tell us whether the grinder is built into your coffee machine or is a standalone grinder, along with the make, model and fault.

Should I keep using a machine that trips the electrics?

No. Stop using it and unplug it if safe to do so. Do not repeatedly reset the supply to test it or open the machine yourself.

What if my machine is leaking?

Tell us where the water appears and whether it happens during brewing, steaming or while idle. Stop using the machine if water may be reaching electrical components.
